We arrive in Vienna
A loooong flight from SFO to Heathrow, a very long walk in Heathrow to find the lounge only to find that our connecting flight would depart from where we started the very long walk. So far that the lounge agent volunteered a cart to pick us up and take us to our next gate. The cart driver took us right to the check in desk avoiding a gigantic line and allowing us priority boarding with the people in wheel chairs. The next flight took us to Vienna, then a taxi to the hotel. Dinner across the street at a bistro with Patty and Ira (wurst with potatoes and sauerkraut with a beer for me, schnitzel and a glass of wine for the rest) and we were all ready for a night’s sleep. Saturday started with a walk to Starbucks! Not my choice but Patty was desperate for a coffee and food. Then we went to the Albertina Museum.
